Have you ever heard of Experience for vBulletin?

They used to have a small shopping cart that was included in version 3.8.x but they have discontinued it in the next version for 4.0.x

My question is, I would like to know how difficult it would be to integrate the points that you earn in Experience to be used to purchase things in the Shopping Cart with your product!

I don't know if we are actually going to be selling anything for cash in the shopping cart we are looking to use. It would be things you could earn and buy with POINTS that were earned while using vBulletin. Earn digital things such as loot and consumables in our game that we all love to hate! Mafia Wars!!!

What exactly are you going to be selling e.g. are they downloads?

Will the user then have to install it.

Just need to know exactly how the product works that they purchase.

What they are going to be purchasing 90% of the time would be invisible items...

Such items would include:

Loot, Collectibles, Consumables for Mafia Wars!

Forum Services...
Such as Bold Titles etc...
Such as what the point market system does already...

The only reason I am not choosing or have not chosen the already created Point Market System is I am not confident in the actual products that are available outside of the vBulletin market...

There will be some downloadable items that will be available such as Firefox Browser Bar for Mafia Wars Game... And bookmarks that are already set up and ready to go...

Also points for watching training videos which are again an invisible selling item...

We are actually going to be offering real items as well though such as Zynga (Mafia Wars) Game Cards, Xbox 360 Games and other items that are GAME RELATED...

So their might possible be shipping necessary although I only see that as a portion of what we are going to be doing as a whole!

I don't think vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro is going to be the right product for you, as it is for digital downloadable and physical products.
It could be modified to use the points from vBExperience to purchase digital downloadable and physical products, but not for invisible items.

I am not sure that I understand you...

If you can make the system work for Physical Products what is the difference between that and an item that we "ship" via the computer through the internet rather then through say USPS?

Say they purchase the product 'Bold Titles', that is fine. vB Osc Shopping cart Pro will allow that.
Now what happens after the purchase.

This is where I'm not sure what you are going to do.
Are you going to manually add the option of 'Bold Titles' to the users forum account, once product has been purchased.

If this is so, there won't be a problem.

After the purchase we would like to do the following...

1. Purchase is Made
2. Purchase is "Paid" for in "Points" through vBExperience
3. Email is sent to our Customer Service Solution "ZenDesk" to go to our order processing system.
4. Our Employee is assigned the "Ticket" to manually PROCESS the order ie... Send out the gifts to the customer through our game platform or as you said MANUALLY add GLOW to the user's account.
5. Ticket Closed at delivery of product.
6. Email Marketing program started to keep them involved and buying more products!

Something of this nature...

So what we can get vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro to do is:

1. User selects the product they want and adds it to the cart.
2. User then goes to the cart and proceeds to the checkout.
3. At Checkout the user pays using the points in his/her vBExperience.
4. Once purchased Points are deducted from the vBExperience.
5. vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro sends purchase email to customer and to your ZenDesk.

Is that as far as you want vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro to go.
