    Hi,

vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro is a modified version of osCommerce v2.2.

When you install vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro into vBulletin, it installs a modified verion of osCommerce.

You would need to transfer your products from your current shop into the new installed shop, as it is a fresh install of osCommerce.
Also any previous sales on your old shop would not be transferred.

The default setup has a Shop Tab in the Nav Menu like here.

The admin area for the shop is in the vBulletin Admin Area.

All users on your forum will get an account on the shop, once they visit the shop their account gets generated automatically.
There is only one login and registration, and that is though vBulletin. So the osCommerce login and registation has been removed.

There is a shop frontend demo site here: http://www.satviewers.com
You can put through test purchases there to see how it works.

    Thanks

im guessing that modifications to the osc would be exactly the same as doing a standalone cart method yes?

    or are there restriction?

It works the same way as having osCommerce installed as a standalone, except for:

    It uses vBulletin Login/Registration.
The auto-generated account that is created on the osCommerce side is assigned the UserID and email that the user has in vBulletin.

The osCommerce addons will need some modifications. Mostly these are links to files.
We haven't come across an osCommerce addon that couldn't be modified to work with vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro.
