    Default osCommerce and Vbulletin 4

    Hello,

I'm very interested to have a shop in my forum.

Is it possible to get the same look as the forum itself ?

    Regards,
    Marcel

    Hi,

Yes, it is possible to have the same look as the forum.
Some customers have edited the stylesheet.css to make it look like their forum.

We will be editing the shop to work with StyleVars soon.
This had been put off, as vBulletin were changing the StyleVars.

    Thanks for your prompt answer.

Do I understand correctly that I need to install osCommerce first and then buy vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro ?

Can osCommerce run on an other domain, or is it better to have both the forum and shop on the same domain ?

    Regards,
    Marcel

    Hi,

No you don't install osCommerce first.

The vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro package contains the full osCommerce and integration files.
The osCommerce files in the package have been modified, so that it runs integrated with vBulletin.

vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro has to run on the same domain as your vBulletin as it is installed into your vBulletin.

    Hi,

Thanks again, and I'm sorry for the lot of questions.

It sounds better and better and I'm looking forward to have this into my forum.

The only thing I'm concerned of is the look, it needs to fit with the forum style as I'm using a pretty dark forum and a "white" shop doesn't look very good.

The shop colours can be changed in the file stylesheet.css

You can test out the frontend of the shop here: http://www.satviewers.com

It is running the demo shop.

Yes you can use custom osCommerce templates with vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro, but these will need to be modified first to make them compatible.

Sorry the StyleVar still hasn't been implemented.
It is planned to be implemented soon.
