In our site, we'd just need to configure a place where to sell numbers for a draw.

The only requirement is that stock of number of articles (concrete number in the draw) goes from 1 to 0 as soon as payment is confirmed, so none can buy repeated numbers.

Ofcourse we need to keep record of the user who bought every number, rather in a public way than private.

Would it be possible through your solution with osCommerce ??

He gets the following error on accessing the shop:
insert into osc_customers (customers_id, customers_username, customers_gender, customers_firstname, customers_email_address, customers_default_address_id, customers_newsletter) VALUES ('800', 're'M'ington', 'm', 're'M'ington', 'sdfsdf@sdfsdf.com', '0', '1')

Hi,

- Does this install like a vB 4.x product?
- Is the shop running on this site what it is like, including my account / Cart Content / Checkout?
- Can the code add users to a certain group when they have ordered & paid?
- Can I test drive (the back end) somehow?
- Is there any support / documentation for importing shop content and / or orders? I have a proprietary code with a few hundred shop items and a few thousand customers and orders?
- Can I install this on an active vB site, hide the shop (from regular users) until it is configured and ready?

Thanks in advance

If you delete the banner in your cart admin are it deletes the entire thing including the footer links for your site. I personally am not going to use the banner system that is built in and probably quite a bit of others will not use it either. I had to add your link manually into my footer so that your link was still there since I have not purchased any brand free option. Here is what I had to do to add the same info that you had for the links...

open packages/shop/includes/footer.php

FIND:

Code:

?>
<?php
 if ($banner = tep_banner_exists('dynamic', '468x50')) {
?>

And change to:

Code:

?>

vB Osc Shopping Cart Pro v1.0.6 Copyright © 2010 ITVault Solutions (osCommerce 2.2 Integrated)

<?php
 if ($banner = tep_banner_exists('dynamic', '468x50')) {
?>

That adds the footer links back into the script. you guys might want to set this where it cannot be removed just by deleting the banner.

I was wondering if there is or a way to make it where members can purchase an item and then there is a time limit on the item like one year where then their support license will expire and it will prompt them to purchase support for another year. Kinda like vBulletin used to be, I would also like to know if its possible to have people have to put in the site URL when they purchase the product. I'll be selling skins for various scripts.
